Many people who find us have already been somewhere else.

Somewhere they felt rushed, or dismissed, or like the care on offer wasn’t really built for them.

Somewhere they were told their body was the problem.

Or somewhere that discharged them before they felt ready.

If that’s been your experience, we want you to know—it’s not a reflection on you.

It’s a reflection on how traditional healthcare is set up.

At Eat Love Live, there’s no rigid treatment pathway you’re expected to follow, no body you’re expected to have, and no timeline your ‘progress’ is measured against.

We work with you—at your pace, around your needs, and with everything that has shaped your relationship with food and body up until now held in mind.

Why Eat Love Live Exists

“I became what I needed”

That's how Jo Money, founder of Eat Love Live, describes why she built this practice.

Early in her career as a dietitian, Jo noticed a gap—not in clinical knowledge, but in how people were treated.

The authenticity, the compassion, the sense that someone was genuinely listening. It was missing.

So she worked differently, in a relational way that put the person in front of her first—even before she had the formal language for what that meant.

And it worked. People felt it. Over time, word spread.

As the practice grew, so did the vision. Jo realised she couldn’t see everyone who needed compassionate, relational, trauma-informed care—but she could create a space where other clinicians who worked in the same way had somewhere to land.

Eat Love Live is the result of both of those things: a practice built for people who’ve felt unseen by healthcare, staffed by clinicians who’ve often felt the same way about the industry they work in.

Who we work with

More than just eating disorders

While we are best known for our work as an eating disorder clinic, our team’s expertise extends well beyond it. We also love supporting:

We see clients in person in Collingwood, Melbourne, and online across Australia via telehealth.

What shapes your care

These principles form the foundation of Eat Love Live, and are what we bring into every appointment—whoever you are and whatever you’re coming with.

Weight-inclusive

How you feel about your weight and the history you carry around it is a real and valid part of your relationship with food and your body. We won’t dismiss that or rush past it. And, we also don’t believe your body is a problem to be solved with weight loss, and we won’t treat it like one.

Trauma-informed

The relationship you have with food and your body today has been shaped by everything you’ve lived through. We understand that, and we hold it with care.

Neuro-affirming

Neurodivergence and ADHD interact with eating, hunger, and food in ways that standard nutrition advice simply wasn’t built for—because it was built around neurotypical assumptions. We work outside those.

Gender-affirming

Care that is genuinely inclusive of trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse people—including nutrition support specific to gender-affirming healthcare—without assumption, without awkwardness, and without you having to educate us first.

Social justice-oriented

Your relationship with food has been shaped by a lot more than personal choices. Diet culture, weight stigma, food access, systemic inequity — we understand the social and structural forces at play, and they inform how we work with you.

You've been somewhere else.
Eat Love Live is somewhere different.

Come as you are. Put down everything you’ve been carrying.
That’s exactly what we’re here for.
