About Rebecca
Bec aims to provide compassionate, inclusive, weight-neutral and trauma informed care.
She acknowledges the complex relationship that many people have with their bodies and movement/exercise and the courage it takes to have conversations with a health professional about this. She recognises that all parts of a person including neurodiversity, gender identity and body size can impact how individuals engage in society, healthcare and movement/exercise. Bec enjoys getting to know her clients as the uniquely wonderful people they are and working towards goals that are important to them.
Bec has a strong passion for supporting those with eating disorders in the recovery process. This may include support to develop a positive relationship with movement, address bone density concerns and manage associated injuries, pain and tightness.
Bec also loves working with those who are faced with the challenges of chronic illness and chronic pain, including hypermobility, EDS, POTS, ME/CFS, long COVID and fibromyalgia. She offers support with understanding their condition, fatigue management strategies, pain management strategies and incorporating movement in helpful ways.
Bec enjoys providing support throughout people’s pregnancies, to help them stay active and manage any pregnancy relates aches and pains.
